RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research explores how environmental variables and attributes impact plant-pollinator interactions and networks. I received my doctorate in community ecology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. My dissertation work focused on the effects of landscape variation on plant-pollinator networks across a tropical atoll and the effects of species introduction on montane plant community diversity and seed production.

During my time in the Grozinger Lab, I will be investigating pollen diet choices of yellow-faced bumble bees (Bombus vosnesenskii) from a restored coastal chaparral habitat across a flowering season. I will also be contributing to ongoing efforts to analyze bee foraging data from the Honey and Pollen Diagnostic Lab. .
